About the Table of Contents
You can add a Table of Contents to an Article Content item. The Table of Contents feature allows users to drill down into specific areas of the topic of an article page. The Table of Contents Component is automatically programmed to display all the H2s on the page.
Embedding and Managing the Table of Contents
The Table of Contents Component is available as an Embed. It can be embedded in the Body of Content Articles and Content Article Extensions. It cannot be embedded in Galleries or Tables.
To add a Table of Contents to an article, click the + icon and choose Table of Contents.
Once added to the body of an article, the Table of Contents Component is set to wrap-left by default with the ability for users to override alignment. The full list of alignment options includes: Inline, Wrap-Left, Wrap-Right.
